bulkhead is used for the pupil lights and sub switch controls crossing gate and stop sign
sub switch also controls the switch back lighting
master switch is it just for batteries or is it the one with fuses and a couple lights , if so it has its own trouble shooting

These C2's have smart switches, so it's not a dedicated circuit. The switches determine which circuit the SHM operates. So on the harness side, they should all be wired the same. You could swap switches to see if it's the harness or the switch. Power in on the harness side should be the same as all other switches. I'm not sure if this works the same for the Master switch, but you could try it.

yeah i moved the master to another slot before and it made no change my interest in the power and ground is because driver states when it happens the lights on the hole panel go out so i am thinkin its a power or ground issue maybe to switch hub module so would need to know where or what wires get power and ground to module

Gotcha, I have EZ Wiring on DTNA and Thomas Bus Online as well. I cannot find anything on DTNA for the switches and nothing past 2006 on Thomas Bus Online. So it looks like you'll have to revert back to dinosaur days of diagnostics and tracing wires

power and ground go through floor above your CHM and fuses in PDM by the SEM
does not show master switch(newest serial I have is for a 2014 C2) on DTNA
light circuit for switches does come from the SEM

I have a VIN for a 2015 but then I skip to 2019.

We’ve had a problem on our ‘14 and ‘15 C-2’s with the battery box filling with water and messing up the master switch and mega fuse panel. I found some 1” duck bill drains we install along with a set of mudflaps that seem to have eliminated the water problem.

We've had electrical problems with two C-2's in the past couple of months.

The stepwell lights wouldn't work on the first one. Had the Bulkhead Module re-flashed and all is well.

On the second one, the stop sign lights and 8-ways worked intermittently. Our tech diagnosed it as a bad Chassis Hub Module. We waited on one for months, finally got it in, and still had the problem. Sent it to the dealer and they found the P2 connector wasn't fully snapped in at the Switch Hub Module.

just an update on this the driver has been using this bus for a month now with no issues and the outside temp has been warm but i know as soon as it get cold it will act up but. the other day i had a simular c2 where the amber light switch broke and i didnt have one so i stole it from another bus i was rebuilding the rear axle so i just finished rebuilding the axle and i order a new amber switch and no tht bus has a intermitten problem with the schools lights not working and it never had that issue before so i stole the old switch back from the bus i put it in and now its fine are there different switchs i got it from dealer using vin and i no the are smart switches so wondering if there are different ones i am thinkin my problem on other bus may be the amber switch because i replaced it months ago

We’ve had problems with techs grabbing switches that look the same but aren’t internally. If you want to shoot me the last seven digits of your VIN I’ll get you a part number.

Not sure what you’re asking. That part number is the only one for that switch. That number, 136252, is on the side of the switch. If you have another number on your switch, let me know and I’ll see what I can find.

I would imagine there are. I don’t have access to a list of switches. I can only see what’s on a bus by the VIN.
