hey guys i have a fuel filter qestion on the dt466 everytime i change a fuel filter the next day or two the fuel filter message comes up on the display and the wrench light comes on the i take filter out clean bowl again let it go for couple days it comes back on but after a fuel days it goes out and doesnt come back til its time for service and i change filter and it happens again anyone having this problem i am sure its something i am doing
on our 2011 and up IH busses that parameter is disabled, now our 2006 to 08 dt466 a fuel filter light comes on those at anytime and for no reason , no code with it , so no idea if its a timed thing or what it is , a new fuel filter housing and sensor did not correct
OEM trained in wiring and all engine platforms for over 20 years
yeah i noticed for a while now everytime i change a fuel filter on those the light goes out but back on the next day then its on and off for few days then it stays out till time for a new filter
