We have a 2020 IH/Cummins engine overnight the clearence lights will come by themselves and will shut off time duration unknown, now from the driver she says the hood markers do not come on just the on the body(ID lamps, and rear markers) No esc codes , and of course will not duplicate issue here in shop Any one seen this issue, the lamps come on with key, she did not state if dash lights illuminate also when the unit does this |

does this have the light switch on the left side of the dash cluster? I've SEVERAL of them bad right off the bat when new. The switch doesn't sit in far enough, the tabls don't hold it in tight enough, and this allows it to break contact and flip the lights on.

how did you do the photo lol yes it has that switch but here in NS all lights come on with ignition so most drivers don't even touch this switch , doesn't even have to be on for high beams to be operational, but if it was defective internally it could turn markers on will swap and update after a bit thankyou for your reply |

I believe that an update to the BCM will resolve the issue. We had that on a few over the years and I'm about 90% sure the dealer updated the BCM. |

Most of my folks don't ever touch the switch either. it's all about how the switch sits into the dash. The BCM update seems reasonable as well.
