Regen stage 1 and 2 VGt over duty unable to build EBP Found EGR valve broke( the head of valve fell off) so stepper motor was still moving and giving feed back to ECM like it was working properly All trouble shooting lead to replacing DOC and DPF very costly, be the reason why cummins had an EGR delta P sensor I noticed that intake manifold temp was not low(egr closed) while trying a regen LAF eh
See a lot of problems caused by the EGR valve, usually power complaints. They hardly EVER code, EPA 07 or EPA10. Same with Intake Throttle Valves. I think an argument could be made for making them a maintenance item. Especially the EGR Valve.
