I have one of those little IC buses low profile . It has the 365 V8 with an allison hydaulic brakes . Driver came off her run yesterday and shut her bus off to do her post trip . Went to start the us to put it away and nothing . Said during run the bus had a hicup but stayed running . So I grabbed my laptop think it was transmision . Couldn't read the computer . So I checked the engine and same thing wouldn't connect so no readings . Where should I look and would both show no signs of life ? When I turn the key I just get a click like te bus is in gear . Thanks for any help

check for 60 ohms at connector plug on the 1939 data link might be bad
power to a pdm which houses the fuses and/or relays for drive train (loose connections or bad)
sounds like data link issue where the engine is not seeing neutral signal plus you can't hook up to either

Bluenozer I went out to bus and had someone turn the key on . I didn't hear the injectors turn on . I thought they would at least turn things on.

power issue I think the injectors would cycle without data link

2006 should have the two power harnesses ( one is grounds) they follow drivers side frame then come up fire wall and feed the fire wall relays , I 've found issues with those harnesses alot of time

Now I found something really wierd . We pushed this bus into the shop. When the guy steering the bus tried to open the service door the stop paddle and lights came on . The only way to turn them off was to sut the door . This was done with the key on . So I tried the amber lights and they don't work . I wouldn't have thought everything was tied to the ECM ? Anybody have any ideas ?
