Thank you for posting, I had planned to today.

This REALLY hacks me off because we have one of the most in-depth student pickup and drop off procedures in the nation, and had the driver and students followed the standardized procedure, this VERY likely would not have happened.

I agree Thomas. This is the 3rd video in 2 weeks that I have seen when kids were hit or almost hit because of the BUS driver and the students. You simply cannot expect this to not happen if the bus drivers aren't doing their jobs correctly.

To be fair to the driver, I don't know if this guy was the regular driver or a sub. I feel for a sub when they get ahold of a group who's regular driver isn't doing things correctly.

I agree that this may never have happened if procedures were followed. However it does not excuse the driver from passing a school bus with the RED LIGHTS activated. Thankfully the two students just had a few bumps and bruises. I also think it happened so quickly that the driver only had enough time to slam on his horn to try and stop the passing car.
