What is your company using ? SD card or Hard drive models Ease of setting up and viewing for us and school. Warranty and if you have had and how the service is. We where original with Seon since the VHS tape days .A few years ago when they sold out or changed head hunchos something happened with there product. We no longer use them I will leave it at that. I know its a dirty bouncy ride on a bus and electronics today are not the greatest. |

REI hard drive systems 100% for me. SD is ok, but we prefer the longer storage period. The new HD5 series is pretty awesome. Finally using a solid state drive. |

REI hard drives systems for us as well. Great product and excellent customer service. I've had some issues with the HD420 Series hard drives, but 90% of it happened under warranty (if I remember right, it's a 3 year warranty) and getting the issues rectified was very easy. I second the new HD5 series being pretty impressive. File download and sharing with the school admins is pretty user friendly as well. |

Angel Trax. Hard drive and SD cars. The old hard drives suck but I don't think you can them anymore anyway. But about the same as the rest, they are good, and a good warranty. |

We use Seon with no problems of any concern. They are hard drive and can be viewed from any school building if it is set up as a wireless remote system. |

We use REI and have been since we changed to DVR. I still have some original systems left running from the begining. They stopped making the hard drives for the old ones (I think they are 15 years old but not sure) but we are taking them apart and replacing the guts, easy to do. We are getting new systems as well, very nice. Warranty & support for any question is a breeze. |

We switched to Pro-Vision good hi-def video, uses SD card. The DVR that will record up to 16 cameras. We use the flush mount on the cameras, so it ends up being a nice clean install. The kids forget the cameras are there. |

lol, I think they would forget even it one hit them in the head every day as they got on. They just get used to them being there and don't think a thing about it. I've ask kids before why they did something when they know the cameras are there and they work. They tell me they knew they were there but just didn't think about it at the time. lol Funny stuff. |

Something we enjoy doing from time to time is printing off a still image from the bus and hanging it in front to remind them as they leave. Also fun to print the night vision image to really make them think. |

We haven`t had cameras since the camcorder dinosaurs. Are the cameras wireless now? how many do you use in each bus? and can you get the system to record outside as well as inside? |

All digital now. Some will hook up to wireless when they get onto campus. They will record ground speed, 8-way activation, turn signal, brakes, inside temp. They will record several hours on a hard drive or other storage devices. You can put several cameras including outside cameras. We use one outside one three inside at our district |

Seon & REI are the best I have used. We had 24/7 and Gatekeeper I am changing them all over. REI & Seon are very similar |
