My 2001 AmTran FE with outward-opening air door needs the regulator and dump valve replaced. Old reg didn't have a gauge, new one does (also has a dryer filter--yay I guess). Anybody able to tell me what I should set the pressure to? First time I've had to do this!!! Bird and Thomas don't use this setup.

AmTran's very helpful sticker on the access door just says "Air pressure has been adjusted to ensure safe operation". Gee thanks!

I want to say 60 PSI is about where our IC doors are set at, so maybe try somewhere around there. I would say start low, then just work your way up until it seems like a nice smooth operation.

Thanks for the super quick reply...60 sounds reasonable... Guess we will see on Wednesday when the valve arrives.
