I need to test and replace my glowplugs but none of us have ever accessed the glow plugs to do so. Can anyone explain how to access the glowplugs on an T44E? I have '95 Thomas International.

Take off the valve covers and you will see them.

Make sure you test the glow plug relay, that's a common issue.

You can test them at the valve cover gasket where the injector harness plugs in. With the single plug, the glow plugs are the first and last 2 pins. You should get about 1.9 to 3.9 ohms on them.

If you can't handle the answer, don't ask the question
