Anyone had any issues with the fuse holder the electric fan hub is tied into? Fan hub was not engaging checked 7.5a fuse no power took out put back in and fan hub reengaged contacts looked clean put new fuse in with dielectric grease worked fine till yesterday now doing it again. Not a big fan of putting a unsealed fuse box on a fender....

edit: Found the issue the hot wire for the fuse holder over time bent and pulled the contact just a fraction of a inch out of the socket not a very good design there.

We have found issue with several of the fuse holders used by Thomas Bus. When in doubt replace the fuse holder with a 30 Amp style and use a lower amp fuse they use the cheapest parts possible. Most intermittant power problems are connection point issues. Also on the subject of fan hubs we have had severa of them leaking oil like substance all down the front of the engine and have been mistaken for front seal leaks.
