CHITTENANGO, N.Y. — Blue Bird school bus dealer New York Bus Sales has hired Jim Hogan as director of parts.

Hogan will oversee parts management, purchasing, inventory, sales and supply of parts for all company locations in Rochester, Syracuse and Albany, as well as a newly planned downstate location.

“With Jim overseeing all of our locations, we expect increased efficiencies and a streamlined process for parts, which will strengthen our service quality for our customers,” said Marlene Denney, owner of New York Bus Sales.

The dealership offers a large selection of bus parts for major brands, such as seating, signage, electrical, body and chassis parts, and safety and surveillance equipment.

Company officials said that Hogan has many years of experience as a parts manager. Before joining New York Bus Sales, he worked at Leonard Bus Sales’ Deposit location, most recently as operations manager.

Hogan is a member of the National Association for Pupil Transportation, the New York Association for Pupil Transportation and the New York Head Mechanics Association. He has also earned a U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration certification for general industries.
