I was wondering what is needed for training or even license for a driver to use a white transport aka bus. It will not have any markings on it for School Bus, and will be used solely for taking students to outreach programs. I am an instructor and do not see any information I am looking for. I am from Massachusetts. I appreciate the help.
I can only speak about California, so none of this may apply. If the vehicle was sold as a passenger van holding 10 or more including the driver, that driver had to have a Class B+P endorsement. Even if seat are removed to reduce the capacity. I was what came from the factory. I would check with your state officials, who ever that is. Here it would be CHP.
