The series of events travels to Marietta, Fayetteville, Valdosta, and Savannah in August and September.

Four stops are planned in the upcoming 12th annual Clean Energy Roadshow educational series, hosted by Georgia Public Service Commission Vice-Chairman Tim Echols and producted by Event Energy Partners and Clean Cities Georgia, in Marietta, Fayetteville, Valdosta, and Savannah.

Stops include:

  • Aug. 17: Cobb EMC in Marietta.
  • Aug. 18: Trilith in Fayetteville.
  • Sept. 13: Rainwater Conference Center in Valdosta.
  • Sept. 14: Savannah State University in Savannah.

These half-day events are open to commercial and municipal fleet professionals and planning organizations, featuring a showcase of compressed natural-gas, electric, and propane vehicles. Seminar speakers include representatives from Clean Cities Georgia and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, state Department of Transportation Commissioner Russell McMurry, and original equipment manufacturers and utility and fuel providers. The event is free, but registration is required.

Blue Bird's electric and propane buses, along with Thomas Built Buses's Jouley electric school bus, will be on site for school superintendents and pupil transportation directors to see.
