Securement supplier AMF-Bruns of America is planning to honor yet another special-needs school bus driver for their standout service.

For its fourth annual Special-Needs School Bus Driver Of The Year Award, AMF-Bruns said it is looking for a special-needs bus driver who has distinguished themselves through “special accomplishments, meritorious and heroic acts, and innovations to improve their jobs.”

The award winner will receive a $1,000 check, according to the securement supplier.

AMF-Bruns presented its third award to Elaine Hernsberger, a bus driver and trainer for Hays Consolidated Independent School District, which is based in Kyle, Texas, in December. Hernsberger was honored for her responsibilities as a driver and trainer, as well as her collaborative approach positive attitude.

The enrollment deadline for the award is Oct. 1. For more information, go here.
