REDWOOD CITY, Calif. — GreenRoad is offering a series of web seminars with guidance on how to reduce fuel usage and idling in fleets by addressing driving performance.

The series is part of a larger initiative at GreenRoad to support the Clean Cities Coalition and to help cities across the U.S. meet clean air objectives.

“Improving driving performance helps save lives and protects our environment by reducing fuel consumption and carbon emissions,” said Tanya Roberts, senior vice president of marketing for GreenRoad. “We are committed to helping cities meet their clean air objectives by putting the best fleet drivers on the road.”

GreenRoad’s systems also have safety, monetary and environmental benefits — fleets typically reduce crash costs by 50 percent, and reduce fuel usage and emissions by up to 10 percent, according to the company.
