NORTH LAS VEGAS, Nev. — BusWest has acquired the Thomas Built Buses dealership for Nevada from Arizona-based Auto Safety House.

BusWest, which has sales and service locations in California and Hawaii, will now also serve Nevada through an office in North Las Vegas.

“We value each and every one of our school bus dealers across the United States," said Kelley Platt, president and CEO of Thomas Built Buses. "BusWest’s expansion into Nevada is yet another demonstration of our dedication to the western and southwestern United States.”

In addition to new and used school buses, BusWest offers a complete range of Thomas Built aftermarket parts along with a state-of-the-art heavy-duty collision facility.

Auto Safety House serves customers throughout Arizona with the sale of buses (new and pre-owned, school and commercial), truck equipment, work truck accessories, trailer parts and equipment, emergency lighting, and service.

BusWest of Las Vegas dealership operations will take place alongside Silver State Truck & Trailer out of a facility at 3701 Freightliner Dr., North Las Vegas, NV 89081.

"BusWest looks forward to working with all of the school districts, charter and private schools in Nevada to support their school bus operations," BusWest officials said in a statement.
