TAMPA, Fla. — A 15-year-old boy was arrested in connection to shots fired into a school bus here on Monday afternoon, WTSP reports. Three bullets hit the bus, but the four students on board were not hurt.

The motive in the shooting appears to be part of an ongoing feud with one of the students aboard the bus, according to the news outlet.

Donald Smith, the bus driver, heard at least four gunshots, told the children to get down on the floor, sped away from the area, and made sure students were OK and taking cover, he told WTSP.

The teen was taken to a juvenile assessment center and faces a number of charges, including aggravated assault, according to the news outlet.
