SCHENECTADY, N.Y. — Transfinder is hosting a free webinar with a panel discussion, titled “Low Fuel Prices – Why it Matters and How to Take Advantage of It,” on March 12 at 1 p.m. EST, with school transportation professionals from across the country.

District officials will provide details about how Transfinder has helped their schools leverage technology to create ongoing savings that they were able to reinvest in other important school initiatives.

During the 30-minute webinar, attendees will learn how to capitalize on record low oil prices to create a continuous revenue stream for their school district.

The panel members are:
•    Jason Bietz, business manager at Yankton School District; Yankton, South Dakota.
•    Darla Dicken, transportation director at Oakwood Central Unified School District #76; Oakwood, Illinois.
•    Robin Pease, facilities and transportation director at Mohawk Trail Regional School District; Shelburne Falls, Massachusetts.

“These panelists can directly address the issues a transportation office faces day in and day out,” said Joe Rossi, Transfinder’s vice president of global sales. Rossi will be moderating the discussion.

Those attending the discussion also will be able to ask the panelists questions.
