Federal safety officials and inspirational athletes are among the key speakers on tap for this year’s National Association for Pupil Transportation (NAPT) Summit.
The 2015 Summit will be held Nov. 6-10 in Richmond, Virginia. The agenda includes workshops on a variety of school transportation topics, keynote presentations, a trade show and networking events.
The speakers slated for the Summit include:
• Dr. Mark Rosekind, administrator of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the federal agency that regulates yellow school buses.
• Christopher A. Hart, chairman of the National Transportation Safety Board.
Burrows
• Scott Burrows, a Florida State football wide receiver who was involved in an automobile crash that left him a quadriplegic. NAPT said that Burrows will show attendees “how to stand up to challenges, even in the face of seemingly overwhelming odds.”
