CINCINNATI — First Student has launched a new website,, which is designed to provide richer content for school district partners and the parents of riders.

For school districts, the website aims to generate greater awareness about the benefits of contracting student transportation services. School districts can go step by step through the contracting process. Being prepared with the facts can help districts prepare for and answer questions that may arise during the contracting decision process. The site also showcases the company’s school bus technology and routing.

The website now also includes a new section for parents, which features downloadable bus safety tips and other materials. There is also a feature that enables parents to look up the phone numbers for local First Student locations by entering a ZIP or postal code.

Both school districts and parents can see how First Student employees support the communities they serve through donations and volunteer efforts. A section added to the website features stories of how the company is caring for students beyond the school day.

“We invite school districts and parents to visit our new website,” said First Student President Dennis R. Maple. “School buses are the safest and most reliable way for students to travel to and from school, and we are proud to showcase the good service our team provides each day.”

The new website also features a responsive design that will adjust to both phone and tablet mobile displays.
