HIGH POINT, N.C. — SynTec Seating Solutions is expanding its new Seat Back Exchange Program.

The program allows Thomas Built Buses dealers who have equipped their stock buses with SynTec’s S3C Convertible seat to make last-minute seat changes to tailor the bus to customer specifications.

SynTec announced the expansion of the program at the recent Thomas Built Buses sales meeting in High Point.

The design of the S3C Convertible seat enables it to be converted to an integrated child seat or lap-shoulder-belt seat in less than two minutes, according to SynTec.

As part of the new program, SynTec will change the S3C seat back at the company’s facility prior to delivering the new bus to the Thomas Built dealer. SynTec will perform the seat back removal without labor charges and will provide a credit for each seat back being removed.

“Last year, we converted seats in more than 100 buses. The result was new bus sales for Thomas dealers and expedient delivery for their customers,” said Shane Wright, SynTec dealer account manager. “Based on feedback from dealers who utilized the program last year, we predict that the program will experience exponential growth in 2016.”
