CONWAY, Ark. — American Cooling Technology (ACT) has expanded its school bus air-conditioning capabilities by acquiring the assets of the Kingmor AC Installation Co.

ACT took over the lease of the company's facility in Conway. All of the former Kingmor employees, including General Manager Terry Hare, are staying on with the business, which has been renamed ACT South.

According to ACT, the same experienced air-conditioning technicians will perform installations, bus up-fitting, and customizations.

“We look forward to continuing to supply our customers with quality a/c installations, bus lettering, and modifications in partnership with ACT,” Hare said.

“With their extensive industry knowledge and experience, ACT is very fortunate to have Terry Hare and the employees in Conway, Arkansas, join our growing team and expand our customer support and a/c installation capabilities,” ACT President Dave Oberdorff added.
