ALEXANDRIA, Va. — Police here are investigating a report of a man exposing himself to a student on her way to catch the school bus on Thursday morning.

Around 7:20 a.m., a 17-year-old girl was walking along the sidewalk toward her bus stop when a man pulled up in a vehicle alongside her. According to the Fairfax County Police Department, the girl glanced over and saw the man in the driver’s seat exposing himself to her.

The girl continued to walk to the bus stop, and the man drove off. She reported the alleged exposure to a parent, who notified police.

As of press time, the suspect had not been located. He was described as dark-skinned, possibly black or Hispanic, in his mid-20s. The man had black hair and a mustache and beard. He was driving a gray, four-door sedan.

The incident remains under investigation.
