CINCINNATI — The police department here told WCPO that a school bus driver was taken to the hospital on Tuesday morning after a mother allegedly forced open the bus’ doors and attacked her.
Police told the news source that a school bus was driving through a residential area when Kiesha Shannon parked her car in front of the bus, forcing it to stop. Shannon then allegedly pried open the doors, shouted at the driver, and attacked her, injuring her face.
One student was aboard the bus at the time, and was not injured. Area residents told WCPO that police waited with the student until her parents arrived to pick her up.
According to court records, Shannon’s child takes that bus to school, the news source reports. Shannon was due in court on Wednesday, and the bus company that employs the driver, First Student, is investigating the incident.
