ROYAL OAK, Mich. — Durham School Services received a perfect score of 100% in its recent fleet inspection by Michigan State Police (MSP).

The inspection performed by MSP encompassed an assessment of various bus parts, including the brakes, body, exhaust system, emergency exits, and engine, to ensure the fleet is equipped to safely transport the students of Royal Oak School District. The entire fleet of 25 buses was inspected.

“We are dedicated to the excellent maintenance of our fleet to help ensure the safety of our students,” said Charlotte Beier, general manager for Durham. “Receiving a perfect score on our fleet inspection, and also a certificate of excellence from MSP, is a tremendous compliment to our efforts.”

“We are very proud of this achievement and pleased to celebrate it with Durham School Services, our partners in providing transportation for our special-needs students,” said Patrick Murphy, facility operations manager for Royal Oak School District.

This is the third consecutive year Durham has received the certificate of excellence from MSP.

The company also recently received a perfect score on a fleet inspection in Chester Township, Pennsylvania.
