KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Thomas Built Buses has extended its seven-year Allison Transmission warranty.

Announced late last year, the warranty will now cover buses manufactured in 2016 and 2017 with the Allison 2500 PTS, 2550 PTS, 2300 PTS, or 2350 PTS.

“We continue to stand behind the quality and durability of Allison transmissions,” said Caley Edgerly, president and CEO of Thomas Built Buses. “We share a dedication to the school bus market and to manufacturing quality, long-lasting products. We are pleased to offer our customers additional peace of mind and a lower total cost of ownership with this extended coverage.”

Thomas Built’s seven-year transmission warranty coverage is for a limited time at no additional cost. It is available only for models manufactured from January 2016 through December 2017 and ordered through Thomas Built Buses.
