HIGH POINT, N.C. — Thomas Built Buses announced that Mid-South Bus Center in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, and Warner Bus Industries in Regina, Saskatchewan, are its latest Platinum Support-certified dealers.
Both dealerships underwent rigorous training and improvements to increase service efficiencies, further reducing vehicle lifecycle costs for their customers, according to the school bus manufacturer.
Platinum Support, a collaborative effort between Thomas Built Buses and its dealers, focuses on improving the customer experience. Platinum Support dealers and their staff provide rapid diagnosis, responsive turnaround and quality, consistent communication, robust parts availability, and superb customer service, according to Thomas Built Buses.
“It is with great pride that we welcome Mid-South and Warner Bus Industries to the Platinum Support family,” said Paul Start, market growth development manager for Thomas Built Buses. “Both teams are dedicated to providing best-in-class service and repairs for their customers and to lowering fleets’ total cost of ownership. This certification will have a tremendous impact on the school districts they serve.”
In addition to becoming Platinum Support certified, the team at Warner Bus Industries is only the second Thomas Built dealership to become Platinum Support and Elite Support certified.
“We applaud Thomas Built Buses on taking the initiative to institute the Platinum Support program,” said Graham Warner, president of Warner Bus Industries. “It is no secret that we are huge fans of the program, which now has become part of our everyday culture. The Platinum Support Certification not only directly helps our customers, it also adds significant value to the operational aspect of our location as well.”
“Becoming Platinum Support certified allows our dealership to operate more efficiently, which will in turn impact the turnaround time, communication, and overall satisfaction of our customers,” said Steve Benefield, general manager of Mid-South Bus Center. “Our customers will notice a distinct difference in the level of service that they receive because of this certification.”
