The National Association for Pupil Transportation (NAPT) has launched a new website for its conference and trade show.
The new site, www.naptconference.org, provides details on the upcoming 43rd edition of the association’s annual event.
The 2017 NAPT conference will be held Nov. 3 to 7 in Columbus, Ohio. A one-day trade show with more than 130 suppliers will take place on the final day of the event.
NAPT’s keynote speakers will be:
• Stacey Bess, an educator and author who has taught homeless children in a shed called “The School With No Name.”
• Roger Crawford, who became an accomplished tennis player despite having four impaired limbs.
• Jia Jiang, an entrepreneur and TED speaker who promotes a concept called “Rejection Therapy” to help overcome fear and pursue success.
In a new element of the NAPT conference this year, dubbed “NextPloratory Sessions,” attendees will hear from and interact with featured “thought leaders” and fellow participants.
Other conference sessions will cover a wide range of topics, including hiring the right people, autonomous vehicles, generational differences at work, state budgets, school reform, and seat belts on school buses.
NAPT will also offer 15 of its Professional Development Series courses at the conference for no additional cost.
More details on the event are available at www.naptconference.org.
