Student Transportation Inc. execs gather in New York City as a giant Nasdaq display highlights the company’s 20th anniversary.

NEW YORK — School bus contractor Student Transportation Inc. (STI) took the spotlight as the Nasdaq Stock Market closed on Wednesday.

STI Chairman and CEO Denis Gallagher rang the Nasdaq closing bell at 4 p.m. The occasion also highlighted the company’s 20th anniversary.

The ceremony took place at the Nasdaq MarketSite in New York City’s Times Square. Outside of the building, a giant display highlighted STI's anniversary.

STI is listed on the Nasdaq Stock Market with the ticker symbol “STB.” The company, founded by Gallagher in 1997, now transports students throughout the U.S. and Canada with a fleet of more than 13,500 vehicles.
