WARRENVILLE, Ill. — Durham School Services has been selected to serve Salem (N.H.) School District’s students with special needs.
Durham will provide transportation to more than 100 students, starting with the 2017-18 school year.
“We’re looking forward to being a part of the Salem community,” said Steve Schmuck, regional manager for Durham. “We have been providing safe and reliable transportation to special-needs students for 100 years and are very pleased to have been selected as SAU 57’s partner.”
Deborah Payne, the assistant superintendent for business at Salem School District, cited Durham’s focus on safety as an important factor in choosing the company.
“The company’s commitment to providing our students with safe transportation is evident in the quality of drivers, innovative technology, and safety awareness programs,” Payne said. “We’re pleased to be working with Durham.”
Celebrating its centennial year, Durham transports more than 1 million students across the U.S. every day. Durham is now hiring drivers and monitors.
