WAKE COUNTY, N.C. — A school bus driver here has been charged with reckless driving after his bus overturned on Monday, WTVD reports.

North Carolina State Highway Patrol troopers told the news source that the incident occurred just before 7:30 a.m. Reports indicate that driver Walter Holden drove around a curve and off the road, overcorrected, and the bus tipped over, according to WTVD. Five of the six students aboard the bus were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

Holden was also charged with failure to wear a seat belt, the news source reports.
