InterMotive Vehicle Controls Names New Director of Operations

AUBURN, Calif. — Tracy Weatherfield has joined InterMotive Vehicle Controls as director of operations.

Weatherfield will provide infrastructure development and manufacturing solutions to keep up with increasing product demand and growth, according to the company.

InterMotive supplies electronic control systems that are designed to optimize fuel economy, safety, and productivity for commercial vehicles, including school buses.

Weatherfield has more than 20 years of experience in senior operations and technical management roles for high-tech assembly and distribution. Prior to joining InterMotive, he held leadership positions at numerous OEM and contract manufacturers.

“We needed an expert to head our manufacturing team,” said Greg Schafer, president of InterMotive. “Tracy will play a key role in integrating new technologies to our production processes to meet the growing demand of our customers.”
