FINDLAY, Ohio — Cooper Tire and Rubber Co.'s tires have been selected as standard by school bus manufacturer Blue Bird Corp, the company announced on Thursday.
Starting now, Cooper’s WORK Series line of truck and bus radial (TBR) tires will be installed on all Blue Bird school buses.

The WORK Series line is developed specifically for buses, and offers a wide tread footprint to maximize traction and balance fuel efficiency, according to the supplier.
“We are looking forward to offering Cooper tires as standard on all of our buses,” said Mark Terry, chief commercial officer at Blue Bird Corp. “Cooper has created a product that meets our need for safety in the transportation of students every day. Plus, it has a great, seven-year warranty with up to two retreads, making it a cost-efficient solution for our customers.”
