STEVENSVILLE, Md. — Heavy duty vehicle lift supplier Stertil-Koni has introduced a new LED lighting system for its platform lift model, the Skylift, and the company’s four-post lifting system.

The new lighting system is designed to increase area-specific, under-vehicle lighting for greater shop safety and efficiency, according to a news release from the company.

“Our LED lighting systems are a cost-effective solution to a relatively widespread challenge in maintenance facilities of all sizes and functions — the lack of suitable lighting to perform work safely and productively,” said Dr. Jean DellAmore, president of Stertil-Koni.

The lighting system includes pre-assembled, 40-inch light tubes with transformer and mounting brackets, and a modular “plug and play” system. The lighting tubes, which are available in a slim-line design, provide up to 24 volts of power, and come with environmentally friendly and energy efficient bulbs. The system is also water resistant and certified by the Automotive Lift Institute (ALI).
