MILWAUKEE, Wis. — REV Group Inc. has announced that Chris Hiebert has been promoted to the role of vice president and general manager of REV Group’s Collins Bus Corp.

Rev Group is the parent company of Type A school bus builder Collins Bus Corp. Rev Group’s brands also supply vehicles for the public transit, paratransit, airport, university transportation, and recreation markets.

Hiebert will report directly to Ian Walsh, chief operating officer of REV Group.

“I’m happy to welcome Chris into this leadership role,” Walsh said. “His proven record of achieving consistent best-in-class quality and manufacturing performance by implementing new technologies and world class standards makes him the ideal person to advance the Collins product in the school bus market.”

Hiebert was previously the director of operations at Collins Bus Corp. He has been with the school bus manufacturer since 2003, working in various roles, and has led both manufacturing and lean operations. In both disciplines, Hiebert has been focused on applying industry best practices to reduce operating costs, gain efficiency, and raise the bar for durability and reliability, according to REV Group.

REV Group also announced on Monday that it named Matt Scheuler as vice president of sales for REV Bus.
