Stop because it's a life (Part 1)

Doug Messer, transportation director for Manhattan-Ogden Unified School District 383 in Kansas, helped produce two public service announcements on the importance of stopping for school buses. The videos introduce students who discuss their talents and aspirations, but then their lives are suddenly threatened by a stop-arm runner.

I am amazed at how many drivers speed up when they see the yellow overhead lights on my bus. And I am discusted by the people that go through my red overheads and stop sign. We need more public broadcasting throughout the year about school bus safety.

Look at it this way, We older drivers did NOT run over you when you were young, please stop for school buses so you don't hit a student!
