Special-needs students rescued from flooded school bus

Four special-needs students and two adults were rescued from a bus caught in floodwaters caused by a severe storm in Texas. Meanwhile, three students and two adults were rescued from another flooded bus in the area, and no injuries were reported.

The Canadian school bus contractor adds the large order of Propane Vision units to its existing propane autogas school bus fleet. Southland Transportation VP Tom Jezersek estimates that each propane bus saves about $500 in basic maintenance costs annually.


Out-of-control car kills 15-year-old at school bus stop

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the car was traveling too fast for conditions, and the driver lost control. The vehicle veered off of the road, fatally struck a teenager who was waiting for a school bus, struck a mailbox and then overturned.
