Durham, Stock Transportation celebrate employee appreciation

The contractors will recognize their more than 20,000 school bus drivers and support staff this month for their continued commitment to safely transporting students. Employees will be given lanyards with the logo for Enjoy the Ride, the contractors’ new employee relations program.

Bus driver among California's Classified School Employees of the Year

Wilfin Morales, who works for Menlo Park City School District in Atherton, Calif., has been a bus driver for nine years. He has driven more than 250,000 miles without a single accident or ticket, and district officials say he is dedicated and goes the extra mile for students.

California school bus drivers recognized

As part of “School Bus Driver Day” on Tuesday, the California Highway Patrol joins the Legislature and Gov. Jerry Brown in publicly expressing appreciation to the state’s bus drivers for the job that they do.
