SchoolBusFleet.com is an information service of School Bus Fleet magazine, a trade publication serving more than 24,000 school transportation professionals in the U.S. and Canada. The magazine is published 11 times a year and is a Western Publishing Association Maggie Award winner. E-mail newsletters are sent out multiple times each week.
Founded in 1956, School Bus Fleet provides a wealth of information on the management and maintenance of school bus fleets operated by public school districts, private schools, Head Start agencies and child care centers. The readership includes public operators and contract service providers.
In addition to how-to management and maintenance articles, in-depth analysis of regulatory developments, coverage of school bus commerce and insightful commentary, School Bus Fleet publishes exclusive research material, including annual school district, contractor and maintenance surveys as well as the Top 100 School District Fleets and Top 50 Contractor Fleets.
Frank Di Giacomo
Frank has been involved with School Bus Fleet since 1981. He has served on the Supplier Council of the National Association of State Directors of Pupil Transportation Services. In 2009, the National School Transportation Association presented Frank its Meritorious Service Award. He is also publisher of Metro, a trade publication covering the transit, motorcoach and passenger rail industries.
Mark has been involved in the bus industry since 1996. He serves as associate publisher for School Bus Fleet and Metro magazines and their accompanying websites.
Thomas has been an editor and writer for School Bus Fleet since 2002. He also has several years of experience riding Type C and D school buses for Bend-La Pine (Ore.) Public Schools in the early '90s.
Kelly joined the School Bus Fleet team in 2007. She graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles, with a bachelor's degree in English with a concentration in creative writing.
