The network of propane autogas refueling locations in Canada is growing, with a recent deal adding more than a dozen dispensers across the country.

Canadian propane provider Superior Propane is installing about 15 refueling dispensers from U.S.-based Superior Energy Systems in five provinces, with plans to add more dispensers in 2019.

“Our Canadian customers have waited patiently for a certified and advanced autogas refueling solution, and we delivered,” said Derek Rimko, vice president of operations for Superior Energy Systems, which is not affiliated with Superior Propane. “School districts in particular are enjoying the reduced cost and emissions benefits of propane autogas through the installation and intuitive use of our dispensers.”

Superior Energy Systems recently earned Measurement Canada certification, which verifies that the company’s propane autogas dispensers are legal for trade and custody transfer in commercial and retail applications in Canada.

“Superior Energy Systems has exceeded our expectations by providing our customers with unsurpassed technology, required certifications, and the utmost in customer service,” said Rick Carron, vice president of sales for Superior Propane. “We have additional units on order, with multiple options available to fit our customers' needs.”
