CHARLESTON, S.C. — Student Transportation Inc. (STI) recently inducted 14 employees into the company’s Safety Wall of Fame.

The honor is bestowed on employees who have exceeded the regular scope of their duties by exhibiting an outstanding commitment to safety and community, according to STI.

The honorees in STI’s fifth annual Safety Wall of Fame were recognized during a ceremony with the company’s senior leadership in Charleston.

Employees were nominated by STI location managers from across North America. Criteria included safety performance as well as character, such as following safety best practices, taking pride in their jobs, mentoring new team members, and engaging in their communities.

"We believe that safety awareness is an ongoing process, not a one-time event," said Shelly Hall, STI’s vice president of safety. “These employees exhibit the best of the best in the industry, and we are honored to have them as members of the STI family.”
