CANAL FULTON, Ohio — School bus drivers here paid tribute to their supervisor who passed away last week by taking part in a funeral procession with their buses on Monday, FOX 8 reports.

Ray W. Gesaman, who had been the transportation supervisor for Northwest Local Schools, passed away after a brief illness, according to the news source. He had previously worked as a bus driver and trainer, and served on the school board, The Repository reports.

About 20 school buses formed the procession following Gesaman’s funeral service, FOX 8 reports. Gesaman’s two sisters, who are bus drivers for the school district, took part, and said that Gesaman dreamed of being a school bus driver since he was young and collected school bus memorabilia, according to the news source.
