KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The American School Bus Council (ASBC) has revamped a series of infographics that promote the safety record and other benefits of school buses.

ASBC conducted the update through a cooperative agreement with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). The new versions of the infographics were unveiled at the industry conferences in Kansas City on Sunday.

ASBC and NHTSA joined forces in 2011 to create a campaign called “Learn the Facts,” which included five infographics that highlight the safety, community benefits, traffic reduction, and cost efficiency of school buses. The industry coalition and the government agency collaborated again to update those campaign materials with current data and a fresh look.

The revamped infographics are available for download at www.schoolbusfacts.com.
