CINCINNATI — First Student’s Marlboro, Mass., multi-maintenance shop recently received the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Blue Seal of Excellence certification for its commitment to vehicle maintenance.

The ASE was created in 1972 to improve the quality of vehicle repair and service. The Blue Seal of Excellence is the highest certification level given by the organization, according to First Student.

First Student employs five ASE-certified technicians at its Marlboro location.

“Our team is pleased to receive this recognition,” said Jim Castelli, First Student senior vice president for the Southern New England region. “We attribute much of our success to the importance First Student places on safety, training and keeping up with current technology trends. We are proud of our recent accomplishment and look forward to continuing our great record of service.”

The First Student Marlboro multi-maintenance shop services the Nashoba Regional, Northborough-Southboro, Westborough, Wayland, Sudbury, Berlin-Boylston and Salem public school districts.
