EASTON, Pa. — The Express-Times reports that a woman has been arrested and charged with simple assault against a child, unauthorized school bus entry, disorderly conduct and harassment.  

Jessica A. Brown was accused of entering an Easton Area School District bus without permission on May 16 and assaulting a 10-year-old student. According to the news outlet, documents state that the bus driver told police that he saw Brown assault the student. Brown was arraigned on Tuesday.

The student and his parents were interviewed on May 17. Documents state that the boy told police that Brown, who is the mother of one of his friends, punched him in his right eye, The Express-Times reports.
