Do you know an exemplary school transportation director who deserves recognition for his or her efforts? If so, SBF wants to hear from you.

We’re getting ready to select a recipient for our annual Administrator of the Year award, and we’re accepting nominations. Both district- and state-level directors are eligible.

Each year, we look for candidates who have made significant contributions to pupil transportation through their own departments as well as through state and national associations.

The deadline for nominations is Friday, Aug. 30. To submit a nomination, go here.

    Ralph Knight from Napa Valley has been an outstanding example of a school bus fleet managwer. Ralph has lead the drive for cost effective clean fuels iniatives in almost every field but especially battery electric and diesel hybrid. No one has been a bigger championi and backed it up by operating these alt fueled buses.
