TULSA, Okla. — U.S. Sen. James Inhofe will provide a keynote address at the National School Transportation Association's (NSTA) upcoming gathering here.

Inhofe, a longtime Oklahoma senator and former mayor of Tulsa, will speak to school bus contractors at the group's 49th Annual Meeting & Convention, to be held July 20-24.

Inhofe currently serves as the ranking member on the Senate Committee on Armed Services. NSTA said that he is a strong supporter of the Diesel Emissions Reduction Act program and that he will play a prominent role in the upcoming reauthorization of MAP-21.
