OMAHA, Neb. — Radio Engineering Industries Inc. (REI) was recently awarded New Flyer Industries’ 2012 Supplier Delivery Performance Award-Gold Level for exceeding delivery expectations.

The New Flyer 2012 Delivery Performance Award recognizes suppliers who have provided value-based, quality products with 99% on-time delivery to New Flyer’s production facilities.

“This is our second consecutive Gold Level Award from New Flyer,” said Scott Hays, president of REI. “We are honored by New Flyer’s recognition of our outstanding service and supplier relationship. We will continue to set the bar high to exceed our customers’ expectations.”

As SBF previously reported, REI is celebrating its 75th anniversary this year. Our forthcoming July issue features a Q&A with REI National Sales Manager Chris Shigley, where he discusses the company’s history, among other topics.
