SIOUX CITY, Iowa — Police said that snowballs thrown by students led to an accident between two buses last week, the Sioux City Journal reports.

According to police, students pelted a school bus with snowballs as it was leaving a high school last Tuesday. The school bus stopped suddenly, and a transit bus was unable to stop in time and rear-ended the school bus.

There were 21 injuries, which were all described as minor. Police were investigating the accident, and a school spokeperson told the Sioux City Journal that students could be punished for throwing snowballs at a bus.
