WASHINGTON, D.C. — A video from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) that gives guidance on child safety restraint systems (CSRSs) is now available as a free DVD.

Many school buses transport very young children, including preschoolers, Head Start students and infants. These children must be secured in CSRSs.

NHTSA's video covers the important steps of CSRS selection, direction, location and installation. It also demonstrates the proper placement of children in CSRSs.

Pupil transportation programs can order up to five copies of the DVD here.

The video, which includes six modules, can also be downloaded here.
